The weight meets have been going real well. None of the 9 high school weight lifters have placed, but Coach Butler says, "They are working hard and improving and that's all I expect them to do." The next wight lifting meet is Friday February 4, 90 miles north of Fox. Coach Butler thinks that they will do like they did before which is work hard. "They are young and working to improve, and they are a lot of fun to work with", Coach Butler.

No Game Saturday! Last Regular Season Game Date!
Saturday's game at Alex has been canceled.
The only remaining regular season game before Districts will be this Monday at Fox! It will be Homecoming, Senior Night and Pink Out Night all in one! Homecoming will start at 6PM and the girl's game against Waurika starting at 6:3oPM.
Come out and support your Foxes in their last regular season game!

SCHOOL OUT FRIDAY!!!
There will be no school on Friday, February 4th.
Mr. Phelps wishes all employees and students a safe weekend and hopes to see everyone on Monday.
As for the Homecoming, Senior Night and Pink Out Game against Waurika on Friday night, it has been rescheduled for Monday, February 7th starting at 6PM.
Saturday's high school basketball game at Alex is still to be determined.

SCHOOL OUT THURSDAY!!!
There will be no school on Thursday, February 3rd because of the weather and road conditions. As a result, as of now, there will be no Junior High Basketball game at Waurika tomorrow night.

SCHOOL OUT TUESDAY!
School will be dismissed on Tuesday, February 1st in anticipation of inclement weather. Therefore, the high school basketball game at home against Wilson on Tuesday has been canceled, BUT tonight's game against Turner is still on, but it has been moved to 5:30PM

Fox Homecoming is this Friday, February 4, 2011 at the 6:00 p.m before the Fox vs Waurika game. Candidates this year are Seniors, Ethan Ruth , Sean Newell and Ryan Clour from the boys team. The queen candidates are Senior Samantha Wright and Juniors Anissa McConnell and Catie Spigner. Senior Night will also take place between the girls game and the boys game. Our Seniors this year are Ethan Ruth, Ryan Clour, Sean Newell, Marquis Adams, Jericho Whatley, and Samantha Wright.
Spirit Week Days are:

Bad Weather Procedures

With the bad weather potentially on it's way this week, we wondered what is the procedure for letting school out so we asked Mr. Phelps. "Well, first we evaluate the roads to determine the safety. Then we talk to the surrounding schools to see what the situation is, if school is canceled, all staff members are contacted and letting them know." And the big question students want to know is if school is cancelled for bad weather, do we have to make it up later in the year. Mr. Phelps says, "By law, yes, we are required to go to school for 1,080 hours."

Game Results
The Fox high school basketball teams played Friday night at Ryan. The girls won their contest in overtime behind 42 points from Junior, Keyanndra Young. The boys dropped their contest. The next game will be at home tonight against the Turner Lady Falcons and Falcons at Fox starting at 6:30PM.
