Starting Monday, school will be starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 3:49 p.m. . We will have a zero-period which will be a study hour, then we will go on with the normal routine for 1st to 8th hour. "By doing this, instead of making up 6 days of school we only have to make up 2", says Mr. Phelps. "By doing this we will have more time for the end of the year test preparation.
Everyone should be happy, because these days could have been from our Spring or Easter Break!
The Fox Flash Online is an online update of Fox Public School news. We cover topics ranging from the classroom to the different sports arenas!

Fox Baseball Preview
By Cody Plemmons and Danielle Morris
America's past time is back at Fox! Baseball season is just around the corner. Unfortunately, there are no home games this season, but Coach Spigner is looking forward to a good season. "We want to get better, to improve from last season and to get better game in and game out."
The season opens up at Turner on March 3rd. Coach Spigner is excited about the players, even though there are only 13 members. "As a team, we are ahead of where we were last year, but we can't look back, we need to look forward."

Love in the Air
By Tyler Townsend and Kaylee Schier
Love was in the air once again. Valentine's Day came and went. Here at Fox High School, we saw lots of flowers, crushes, balloons, and heart shaped candies. We asked a few of the teachers here at Fox what they got for Valentine's Day.
Mr Phelps got a Big box of chocolates and lots of hugs and kisses from his girls.
Mary Lu Jenkins went to the PBR
Mrs. Kinsey got a new dress, purse, a Diet Coke from Mrs. Ruth, and an empty credit card at the craft show.
Mr. Spigner got Diet Coke and a card from his wife.
Mr. Williams got a punch to the arm and Superman pajamas.
We are looking forward to another Valentine's Day next year.

Fox High School Track Preview
By Miami and Catie Spigner
Track season is finally here!!!! High school boys and girls start their workouts this week to get ready for their first track meet at Lone Grove, March 11th. As the girls coach, Mr. McCartney says, " We're going to be good if we continue to work hard and stay healthy." Mr. McCartney's high expectation is for the girls to place first in all of their events and to win the state track meet.
For the boys its a different story. Mr. Butler is going to be even more strict this year. Even with a small team he still expects his boys to go to state. As he stated, "I expect the boys to be smart enough and take care of business."
Good luck to the Fox high tracksters this year!
