Red Dirt Classic Results

The Fox Baseball team dropped two games in the Red Dirt Classic yesterday at Central. The Foxes dropped the first game, 0-3 to Central and game two, 4-7 against Temple. "We are way ahead of where we were last year at this time and I am pleased with the progress we are making towards the ultimate goal and that's to be playing our best baseball when the playoffs come around. I'm happy with where we are at this point", said Coach Spigner.

On Thursday, the 10th, 17 girls will participate in the try outs for cheerleading. It will start at 4pm, in the gym. Mrs. McCartney said the competition will take about an hour.
The girls have to know the school dance, a group cheer and an individual cheer and they will also be judged by their appearance. The judges will be 3 East Central University cheerleaders.

Good luck!

Softball

By Miami and Catie

Softball season is just getting started. Even though there is cold weather outside, the girls are trying their best to get ready for the district games. They work out hard every day after school to improve their fundamentals.

The girls have played three loses but as Coach Shepherd has always said, "These games don't really count. Only the district games matter." The next game is coming up on March 22 at home against Empire.

The Fox Lady Foxes really need your support so come out.
