''$100..$100..oh we got a $110..can we get 120? 120?...Sold for $110!''
We heard these words a couple of times on Tuesday at the Annual Fox FFA Labor Auction that took place in the cafeteria. There was a good audience and some high bids. From all the bids together, the FFA brought in $11,795 plus donations. So we are one step closer to the new community center we would like to build. Mr. Phelps and Mr. Kirkpatrick really appreciate everyone that attended and for all of the donations.

Zero Hour
By Kaylee Schier and Tyler Townsend
As of Monday, February 21, 2011 Fox Schools added a zero hour. School now begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:49 p.m.
Different grades go to different classrooms.
Seniors-Mr.Kirkpatrick/Ms.Crawshaw
Juniors-Mrs.Kinsey
Sophomores-Mr.Shepherd
Freshmen-Mrs.Smart
8th-Mr.Queener
Schedules will change over time.
Mr.Phelps thinks zero hour serves a dull purpose to make up hours students have missed due to the weather and allows a lot of participation in test preparation, remediation, and homework help. He believes that with an extra hour in the morning this will help prevent students from failing by not doing their homework. He also believes it will improve test scores.

Rise and Shine!
Don't forget to set your alarms just a little bit earlier tomorrow, because school will start at 8:00AM instead of 8:15AM! If you ride a bus, it will arrive about 15 minutes earlier than normal!
