New Teacher Profile - James Worley

By Conner Jack and Ethen Eaves

Mr. James Worley, originally from Bowlegs, came to Fox because he is a small town person and loves small towns. He teaches World History, New Testament, 8th grade U.S. History, 3rd and 4th grade P.E., 6th and 7th boys and girls sports and he is a high school sports assistant. His favorite subject to teach is History.

We asked him what he looks forward to at Fox and he replied, "I want to see our team winning, but also seeing each student grow individually." An interesting fact about Mr. Worely is he knows what the sound of one hand clapping sounds like. To the Fox students Coach Worely said, "Thank you for being so open and friendly and good luck in all that you do this year."

Welcome to Fox, Coach Worley

New Teacher Profile- Mrs. Mecynda Sue Worley

By Emily Westervelt and Sherrell Goodwin

A new addition to the Fox Public School staff this year is Mrs. Mecynda Sue Worley. She helps with the special education classes and girls sports. What she likes about Fox school so far is the friendly, open people. "Coach Yeiser has been awesome," says Mrs. Worley. She looks forward to getting to know everyone and making a new tradition of winning in girls' sports. She is originally from Henryietta, Oklahoma. The Worleys came to Fox because they both got a job coaching and teaching.

Her favorite color at the moment is purple and her favorite drink is Dr. Pepper. An interesting fact about Mrs. Worley is that she is the runt of her 3 siblings. Her favorite gummy bear color is red and when asked if she bites the head off of the gummy bears before she eats them, she laughingly replied, "Um...no." Mrs. Worley's message to the students is, "Behave!!!"

Welcome to Fox, Mrs. Coach Worley.

New Teacher Profile - Jason Wright

By William Lovely and Keaton Argo

Mr. Jason Wright is originally from Elmore City, and he decided to come to Fox to see the amazing scenery that we have here at Fox Public School. We asked him what he looked forward to his first year at Fox and he replied, "I would like to help everybody get going with all their classes and help them get ready for college or whatever they have planned in life." We also asked him what his most unique quality is and he said, "I am just a plain boring guy."

We asked him what do you like more about Fox then Elmore City and he said, "The willingness of everybody to work together and that Fox has better food." Mr. Wright also likes the five hours before lunch because it gives the students more time to get stuff done. Mr. Wright is an OSU fan and he said if he had a classroom and if anyone came in with OU anything on, then they would get an automatic F!

Welcome to Fox, Mr. Wright.

New Teacher Profile - Coach Erik Yeiser

By Lacey Watkins and Catie Spigner

One of the newest additions to the Fox faculty is Coach Erik Yeiser. Coach Yeiser is originally from Elmore City. He is the high school history and health teacher. He also coaches girls fastpitch/slowpitch softball and boys basketball. When asked what he liked about Fox he responded, "Everybody is so nice, and the softball team is very successful."

What Coach Yeiser looks forward to the most is the interaction with the kids. The inspiration behind his being here is the wonderful administration and staff. An interesting fact about Coach Yeiser is that he could dunk a basketball until the age of 38. To all the students Coach Yeiser would like to say, "Have a wonderful year!"

New Teacher Profile - Mrs. Megan Stuckey

By Dalton Langley and Dillon Langley

Megan Stuckey is the new seventh grade teacher at Fox this year. She is really outgoing and likes the friendly people here. This is her first year of teaching and graduated from Bray-Doyle High School and went to college at Cameron University in Lawton. When asked what she would like the Fox students to know she said, "I want to be the best teacher I can be." The one thing she would like to tell the students is, "Do your best and forget the rest." When she was in high school, she lost a bet over a college football game and became the school mascot... A DONKEY!

Welcome to Fox, Mrs. Stuckey! We promise not to make you wear the Spirit costume!
