Bird Bashing!

The winning streak is up to 3 as the Foxes defeated the OCA Eagles this past Homecoming Friday night, 52-6. The Foxes (5-1, 4-1) will start the first of a two game road trip this Friday, October 14th against the Bowlegs Bison. Come out and support your Foxes as they make the push to the playoffs!

Exchange Student Profile - Ellen Thomassen



This week we interviewed exchange student Ellen Thomanssen. She is 17 years old and is from Norway. She came to America through a program called P.I.E. which stands for Pacific International Exchange. When asked what she misses most about her country she replied, "I miss the food the most. Mainly the chocolate." The thing that she likes most about being at Fox is all the new people that she gets to meet.

Exchange Student Profile - Nutapat Tinnachote



Nutapat "Nut" Tinnachote is an exchange student from Thailand. Nut is 16 years old and he came to the United States through a program called P.I.E. We asked Nut what he likes about Fox and he said, "I love playing football and all the new friends I have made."

When asked what he misses from Thailand he said,"he misses his homeland food and his friends. Many people do not know this about Nut, but an interesting fact about him is that he is very artistic.

Powderpuff Game Results



The Foxes took the gridiron last night... the Lady Foxes! After a one year hiatus, the Powderpuff Game was back on! The Senior/Sophomores took on the Junior/Freshmen squad. In a hard fought contest, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. The Sophomore class sponsored last nights contest and raised around $300. Today, the Sophomores will be selling the remaining pizza from last nights game at lunch today for $1.50.

Shopping Cart Float Contest




The Fox High School Cheerleaders are promoting a shopping cart decorating contest. We will be decorating shopping carts based on the homecoming theme. The carts will be paraded around the school and at the afternoon pep assembly on Homecoming Day, October 7th. The floats will also be set up at the football game to be voted on by the public. Winners will be announced during half time. This will be a competition between the classes, so let's show some school spirit! Winners will receive prizes!




Homecoming Theme this year is "Let's Get Fired Up!!!!!!!!"

Monday Junior High Football Results

The Fox junior high football team defeated Paoli Monday night, 32-0. The junior high Foxes next game will be at Ryan next Monday night at 6:30PM.

Pounded the Pugs!

The Fox high school football team kept the shutout streak rolling this past Friday night. In 5 games, the Foxes have pitched 4 shutouts. Their latest shutout was against the Paoli Pugs ending the game by the mercy in the 4th quarter, 46-0.
The Foxes next game will be homecoming this Friday night against the OCA Eagles starting at 7:30PM.

Door Decoration Competition

The FHS Cheerleaders are sponsoring a door decorating contest. In honor of Homecoming Week, we are hosting a door decorating contest. We will be competing to see who has the most creative, positive, and original doorway decor.

General Rules: You can use any item that you provide, that does not disrupt the learning environment and will not permanently damage the door. Roll paper will be provided. Any member of another class that is caught vandalizing any door at any time will disqualify their class. Doors will be scored on a scale from 1-5 in the following categories: creativity, theme, originality, positive attitude, and attention to detail. All doors need to be complete on Wednesday, October 5 at 12:00 pm. Winner will be announced at the afternoon Pep Assembly on Friday October 7.

Powderpuff Preview

The Sophomore class will be hosting the Powder Puff football game October 4th at the Fox Den at 6:30PM. Wearing the red jerseys will be the Senior/Sophomores and wearing the white jerseys will be the Junior/Freshman. Come out and support the Sophomore class, your fellow classmates and have a good time.
