Hey Now! They're An All Star!

Kyle Teafatiller and Jericho Whatley can stake claim to the old Smash Mouth song because they were just that this past June... 8 man football All Stars to be exact! The annual 8 man all star game in Miami, OK was considered by many to be the best one is the history of the event. Teafatiller and Whatley's "Green Team" were heavy underdogs to the "Gold Team" which consisted of players from the state champions and runner ups in both Class B and Class C. The Green Team won 28-26, holding the Gold team on the goal line at the end of the game. Teafatiller after the game, "I never had the opportunity to play in a state championship game, but I can't imagine it could feel any sweeter than this feels!"

Camps have come and camps have gone.

June was a busy month for Fox athletes. The Fox Lady Foxes basketball teams participated in Chattanooga's annual team camp and were in a summer league with several other schools playing every Thursday night. "I feel like every day we played, no matter how many girls we had, we were not only competitive, but we got better," said Coach Spigner of his girls. New boys coach, Coach Yeiser had several activities for the junior high and high school basketball boys including an all night "camp out" in the gym! Look for good things from the boys and girls hoopsters this coming 2011-2012 basketball season.

School is upon us!

The 2011-2012 Fox school year is less than a month away!
