Fox 2010-2011 Teacher of the Year

The 2010-2011 Teacher of the Year at Fox Schools is Mr. Carl Stringer. When we asked how Mr. Stringer how he feels about getting this award he smiled and said, "at first I was very surprised, this is the first Teacher of the Year award I have received, I am hoping to receive many more and I am very honored." Mr. Stringer teaches all music courses throughout the school, from kindergarten through high school music classes, music appreciation and band. He seems to be doing an excellent job with the band and Fox is now very honored to have a marching band.

Fox Tracksters Competing On Saturday

April 30th marks the day of the Regional track meet. The track meet will be held at Konawa and will begin 9:00AM. Here all the events that the boys and girls will be participating in:

Marietta Track Results

The high school tracksters competed well at the Marietta track meet this past Friday. Dillon Langley placed 3rd in the long jump and 5th in the 4oo dash. The Fox Lady Foxes 4x2oo relay finished 2nd, 4x100 relay finished 4th and 4x400 relay finished 5th. Individually for the Lady Foxes, Cici Lofton finished 2nd in the 100 dash, Ariah Johnson finished 4th in the 100 dash and Catie Spigner finished 3rd in the 200 dash.

Hardball District Review

The slowpitch and baseball seasons are over for Fox High School. The girls went 1-2 last Thursday in their district contest at Turner. The Lady Foxes first lost Waurika, then beat Achille and lost the elimination game to Waurika.

The Fox Baseball team went 0-2 last Thursday at their district contest at Elmore City. The Foxes first lost to Maysville and then lost the elimination game to Elmore City.

Good job this season to the Fox hardball teams!
