After School Program
By Lacey Watkins and Sherrell Goodwin
January 5th was not only the beginning of a new semester but also a new program. The school decided to bring back the after school program for any students who need help with their school work. It will be Monday through Thursday until 5:30 PM. The after school program will continue through testing dates. Currently, there are 45 kids enrolled and 30 attending. We asked Mrs. Tivis if this was the reason for the shorter weeks and she replied, "As far as I know, this is not the reason for the four day week."
