Hey Now! They're An All Star!

Kyle Teafatiller and Jericho Whatley can stake claim to the old Smash Mouth song because they were just that this past June... 8 man football All Stars to be exact! The annual 8 man all star game in Miami, OK was considered by many to be the best one is the history of the event. Teafatiller and Whatley's "Green Team" were heavy underdogs to the "Gold Team" which consisted of players from the state champions and runner ups in both Class B and Class C. The Green Team won 28-26, holding the Gold team on the goal line at the end of the game. Teafatiller after the game, "I never had the opportunity to play in a state championship game, but I can't imagine it could feel any sweeter than this feels!"
