With the new school year at Fox Elementary School, a new teacher has joined the army of teachers who will be doing their best to teach our little Foxes. Her name is Mrs. Carra Spigner. She is originally from Stringtown, Oklahoma, but now she is living in Tatums with her family. Mrs. Spigner is married to Coach Spigner. They have two kids that attend Fox and one on the way. She attended college at Southeastern where she received her teaching degree. She has been here teaching first grade since the Spring of last semester. Mrs. Spigner likes everything at Fox. As we saw, and as you can see in the picture, the kids love Mrs. Spigner and respect her as well (when they aren't tying her up). Her classroom is a great environment for learning and to have fun at the same time. She jokingly said if she could change something it would be to have a nap time for first graders. Mrs. Spigner is really happy with her role as first grade teacher at Fox and she says,"I love it, it's great for me to have everyone here. If I ever have to go from here, if they kick me out, they will have to do it with me crying and yelling." Welcome to Fox, Mrs. Spigner... and don't let those little Foxes "tie" you down!
