The Fox FCCLA held a blood drive on April 5, 2011. There was 65 signed in to give, 5 walk-ins, and 40 people that gave whole units of blood.
Every FCCLA member was giving a blood drive sign up sheet where they could get people to sign up. There was a competition if you go 4 people to come and give blood or if you are a FCCLA member and you give then you would get a pizza party. There are 8 members that get the party for getting 4 people to come and give and 7 members that gave themselves.
The OBI blood drive coordinator for our district Michelle McGuire was very pleased with the amount of people that came to give and the FCCLA members, students and faculty at Fox Public School. Ms. Crawshaw said, "this has been the best blood drive that she has had in many years."
