New Teacher Profile - Terri Newell

By William Lovely and Keaton Argo

We interviewed Mrs. Terri Newell, a new teacher at Fox. She teaches Spanish, 8th grade Math, and Senior Projects. What she likes about Fox is that people are friendly and care about the students and they help each other whenever then need it. Mrs. Newell is looking forward to this year is new experiences and working with the students and faculty.

She is originally from Fox and we asked her why she wanted to teach at Fox and she said, "because my kids go here, it is a really nice school and they care about our community." An interesting fact about Mrs. Newell is that she lived in Ecuador for a short period and she visited the ruins of Machu Pichu. We asked her what she would like to say to the Fox students and she said, "thank God every day for your blessing for living in America and tengan un buen ano (have a good year) and Go Big Red!"
